tIn its first WCHA-Women's League game in four weeks, Minnesota scored twice on special teams and outshot Ohio State 30-10 en route to a 3-0 win at OSU Arena.

Despite outshooting their hosts 21-7 through the first two periods, the Gophers were only able to get one shot past Buckeye goalie Erica Glaser. Nadine Muzerall took a pass from Winny Brodt to the right of Glaser and scored the power-play goal at 13:32 of the first period.

It was all Minnesota would get until just over five minutes into the final period, when Tracy Engstrom fed Shannon Kennedy on a 2-on-1 for the latter's second goal of the season.

The Gophers' final come was a short-handed effort by Ronda Curtin with 7:14 to play in the game.

Erica Killewald was called on to record just 10 saves in earning her second shutout in three games. Glaser stopped 27 shots for Ohio State.

The teams wrap up their two-game series Saturday, with game time set for 7:05 p.m. EST.
