31University of Minnesota women's hockey coach Laura Halldorson announced that Jerilyn Glenn, a 5-9 center from Forest Lake, Minn., has signed a National Letter of Intent.

Last year, Glenn scored 31 goals and 43 points in 25 games to lead Forest Lake. Along the way, she garnered All-Twin Cities Suburban Conference and honorable mention all-state honors. She also captained the team and was named the Rangers' most valuable player.

A multi-sport athlete, Glenn has earned varsity letters in track, cross country and tennis.

"We're extremely pleased to sign Jerilyn for many reasons," Halldorson said. "She is one of the top players in the state, she's a strong student, a team player who wants to win and has great potential to continue to improve throughout her college career because of her athleticism.

"We also feel that Jerilyn's personality and values fit well within our program's philosophy. She is a tremendous addition to Gopher Women's Hockey."
