Dusty Rychart scored 22 points and pulled down 12 rebounds to lead the Golden Gophers past Marquette, 57- 66, Tuesday night in Williams Arena. It was Rychart's third double-double in as many games.

The only time Marquette led in the game was when they took a 3-1 lead off of a Oluoma Nnamaka three-pointer to open the game. The Golden Gophers went on a 9-0 run to break open the first half and lead going into the lockerroom, 34-24.

In the second half, it was all Minnesota as the Golden Gophers went up by as much as 18 points before the Golden Eagles scored on a Nnamaka jump shot with 5:05 left in the game.

Junior John Blair Bickerstaff and sophomore Joel Przybilla each scored 10 points a piece, including an alley-oop pass from Rychart that Przybilla converted into two points late in the second half. Junior Terrance Simmons scored 11 points and dished out three assists.

The Golden Eagles were lead by senior John Cliff, who scored 16 points and pulled down seven rebounds.

The Golden Gophers play host to Morehead State (Ky.) on Saturday, Nov. 27, at 3 p.m. in Williams Arena.
