OHIO STATE DOWNS MINNESOTA IN MEN'S GYMNASTICS

GoldenThe Ohio State University Buckeyes downed the University of Minnesota men's gymnastics team by a score of 226.15 - 211.925 this afternoon at the Sports Pavilion. Earning honors Saturday for the Golden Gophers were senior Jason Krob, junior Ryan Winterbourne and redshirt freshman Todd Guilbeau.

Krob scored a 9.725 on the pommel horse which was good enough to give him first place in the event. The score is a season high for Krob and it is the second consecutive week that he has earned first place honors in the event.

Both Winterbourne and Guilbeau earned third place honors on the day. Winterbourne took home third place honors with an individual season high in the floor exercise with a score of 9.400, while Guilbeau won third place honors on the horizontal bar with a score of 9.25.
