CROASTON PLACES EIGHTH AT THE ALL-AMERICAN DIVING INVITATIONAL

Junior Dan Croaston placed eighth in the platform diving competition of the All-American Diving Invitational held at the University of Texas. He scored 435.05 points. He was only one of three collegiate divers to place in the top 15.

Croaston also placed 2nd in his division and fourth overall for the annual Austin Cup, an honor which is given each year to the meet's top male and female divers on the three-meter springboard.

The Golden Gophers will travel to Iowa on Jan. 22 to take part in a dual meet against the Hawkeyes.
