MEN'S BASKETBALL FALLS TO OHIO STATE, 71-63

figSophomore Joel Przybilla scored his second double- double of the week with 15 points and 14 rebounds and two other Golden Gophers scored in double figures, but it wasn't enough as the Ohio State Buckeyes defeated Minnesota, 71-63 in Columbus, Ohio.
Minnesota outshot the Buckeyes 40 percent to 38.6 percent and the rebound totals were tied at 43 a piece, but Scoonie Penn and Michael Redd were too much for the Golden Gophers, scoring 20 points and 25 points, respectively.
Mitch Ohnstad, in his second start of the year, scored 12 points and dished out four assists. Kevin Burleson added 11 points and also gave out four assists.
The Golden Gophers will take on the Iowa Hawkeyes on Wednesday, Jan. 12 at 7 p.m. in Williams Arena. They will then travel to Bloomington, Ind. to take on the Indiana Hoosiers on Saturday, Jan. 15.
