REDMON EARNS CO-OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

TenSophomore running back Tellis Redmon earned Big Ten Co- Offensive Player of the Week honors for his performance against Illinois on Saturday. Redmon scorched the Fighting Illini for 314 all-purpose yards - the highest mark in the Big Ten this season and the second best, single-game, all-purpose performance in school history. Redmon, who ran for 183 yards and two scores and made three receptions for 116 yards, is the second Golden Gopher to earn the award this season.
Freshman running back Thomas Tapeh was also recognized for his 183 yards on the ground and two-touchdowns against Baylor two weeks ago.
