Golden Gophers Compete at ITA Regional
Minnesota competes at the ITA Regional Qualifier in Ann Arbor, Mich., Saturday-Tuesday. Sophomore Amy Thomas (Orchard Park, N.Y./Orchard Park) and newcomer Valerie Vladea (Kitchener, Ontario/Burlington Central) will compete in singles, while Thomas will team with sophomore Michaela Havelkova (Liberec, Czech Republic/Gymnazium F.X. Saldy) in doubles.

Minnesota has been off since Oct. 6-8, when the Minnesota men's and women's tennis teams placed ninth at the WingspanBank.com/WTT National Collegiate Tennis Championships in Stanford, Calif. The Golden Gophers, competing in a co-ed team format, finished the tournament with a 2-2 record.
