StaNadine Muzerall scored two goals, extending her goal-scoring streak to 11 games, and Minnesota, 21-5-0 (14-2-0 WCHA), overcame an early goal by Ohio State, 4-21-2 (4-13-2 WCHA), to post a 4-1 victory for its 11th consecutive win.

After Shana Frost gave the Buckeyes the lead two minutes, 16 seconds into the opening period, the Gophers responded with two goals in the first period and two more in the second period.

Muzerall, who is now tied for the national lead in goal-scoring with 33, got Minnesota even less than four minutes later and Ronda Curtin's power-play goal, at 13:45, proved to be the game-winner.

The Gophers padded the lead with goals by Tracy Engstrom, at 1:31, and Muzerall, a power-play at 11:00, in the second period before the teams skated through a scoreless third period.

Muzerall's final goal was her 23rd during her current scoring streak and the 18th in her last six games.

Shannon Kennedy, who set up Curtin's goal, recorded her 100th career point.

April Stojak made 22 saves for Ohio State while Erica Killewald had 18 for Minnesota.

The two teams meet again Saturday at 7:05 p.m. at Mariucci Arena.
