GOPHER WOMEN'S TENNIS WINS THIRD STRAIGHT BY DEFEATING MISSOURI

matThe Minnesota women's tennis team improved its record to 7-3 with a 7-2 win over Missouri in a non-conference match at Columbia, Mo. The Gophers won five of six matches in singles and two of three matches in doubles to win its third match in succession.

Nora Sauska and Sandra Olsen won both of their matches to lead Minnesota. Sauska won her No. 1 singles match against Marianna Zelenovich, 6-1, 6-3, and Olsen won her No. 2 singles match against Andrea Friedman, 6-3, 6-0. The two combined to win the No. 1 doubles match against Zelenovich and Caitlin Thompson, 8-3.

Minnesota plays at Kansas on Sunday.
