MINNESOTA WRESTLERS QUALIFY FOR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS

thUniversity of Minnesota wrestlers Jared Lawrence and Damion Hahn each qualified in freestyle at the Junior World Trials Sunday, to represent the United States at the 20-under World Championships in France on July 5.
For both Lawrence and Hahn, this year will mark their second consecutive appearance at the World Championships as they competed in Australia a year ago.
The two wrestled for the Minnesota Storm who took both Greco-Roman and Freestyle team titles. Lawrence qualified in the 152-pound freestyle class while Hahn qualified at 187 pounds. In addition, North Dakota State's Brian Kraemer (Cold Spring, Minn.) also made the world championships at 213 pounds in Greco-Roman.
