THREE EVENTS PLACE IN TOP EIGHT AT NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS

Marc Johannsen was the highest placing Golden Gopher, finishing sixth in the high jump with a leap of 7-1 1/2. Sophomore Mitch Potter took seventh in the 400m dash with a time of 46.50. Potter also ran the lead off leg of the 4x400m relay that took eighth place with a time of 3:07.97. Adam Steele, Mikael Jakobsson and Tom Gerding were the other members of the relay.

Minnesota tied for 38th overall in the team standings.
