WOMEN'S TENNIS LOSES AT OHIO STATE

The Minnesota Women's tennis team lost to No. 21 Ohio State on Friday, 7-0, in a match that took nearly five and one-half hours. Minnesota dropped to 4-2 on the season and 0-1 in the Big Ten conference.
Freshman Valerie Vladea pushed the match to three sets but lost to Kristy Dascoli, 6-2, 4-6, 6-3, at the No. 1 singles position. Freshman Brandi Watts</ a> suffered her first lost of the season, losing to Laura Maloney, 6-1, 6-3.
Minnesota will play at Penn State on Sunday.
