SOFTBALL MOVES TO KANSAS CITY FOR THE WEEKEND

JoThe Minnesota softball team will play in the Creighton Softball Spring Classic this weekend, but the location and the dates and times of the games have changed. The games will now take place at the Johnson County Softball Complex in Kansas City, Mo. Two fields will now be used, and the tournament has been shortened to two days. Minnesota's revised schedule for the weekend:

Friday, March 9, 2001
Minnesota (12-7-1) vs. No. 17 Nebraska (10-9), Noon
Minnesota vs. Creighton (4-8), 2 p.m.

Saturday, March 10, 2001
Minnesota vs. Buffalo (2-7), 10 a.m.
Minnesota vs. Drake (3-7), 2 p.m.
Minnesota vs. Missouri-Kansas City (2-6), 4 p.m.
