Reddy Eliminated at Omni Hotels ITA Midwest Regional Championships

NischelIn the first day of singles qualifying competition at the ITA Omni Hotels Midwest Regional Championships, Golden Gopher Nischela Reddy was eliminated. In the first round, Reddy faced Michigan's Debra Streifler and was defeated 3-6, 0-6. Later she lost to Melinda Fenimore of Drake in consolation play, 2-6, 2-6.

Reddy and Amy Thomas as well as Michaela Havelkova and Valerie Vladea will begin doubles competition Friday at 2 p.m. Jeannette Cluskey, Angela Buergis, Thomas, Havelkova and Vladea will begin main draw singles competition Saturday morning.
