Women's Tennis Defeated By Wisconsin

NoThe University of Minnesota women's tennis team played its third match in three days, falling 7-0 to No. 73 Wisconsin. The Gophers are now 2-3 on the season.

Minnesota had its best chance in the No. 1 Singles, when Michaela Havelkova faced Vanessa Rauh, taking the match to three sets, 6-3, 7-6, 10-7. The Golden Gophers fell 9-8 in the No. 1 Doubles, when Havelkova and Valerie Vladea were defeated by Linde Mues and Katie McGaffigan.

The Gophers won 6-1 against Iowa State Friday night, before falling to Drake, 4-3 Saturday.

The Gophers face Oral Roberts Feb. 9 at 11:30 a.m., followed by Oklahoma Feb. 10 at noon.
