Harrigan Wins 100-Meter Dash at Drake Relays

Relays Tahesia Harrigan marked victory in her first career Drake Relays, as she won the 100-meter dash in 11.69 seconds at Des Moines, Iowa on Saturday, April 27. Harrigan's time was .2 seconds faster than second place runner, Georgia's Sherita King. Harrigan provisionally qualified for nationals last weekend at the Mt. SAC Relays with a time of 11.48 seconds.

The 4x800-meter relay squad of Rachel Schutz, Tanna Simmons, Melissa Woltman and Jenny Moylan finished 16th with a time of 9:18.98.

Next up, the Gophers host the Minnesota Open on Saturday, May 4 at 11 a.m. at the Bierman Track and Field Stadium.
