Women's Gymnastics Advance to NCAA Championships

Senior MaryAnne Kelley (right) paced Minnesota with a second place showing in the all around with a score of 39.300 and a first place tie on floor exercise with a 9.95. Alabama's Jeana Rice won the all around with a 39.625, finishing in the top three in three of four events.
Senior Courtney Norman led Minnesota on vault after scoring a 9.875, good for a tie for third place. Sophomores Annie Laatsch and Mary Skokut topped the Gophers on uneven bars with a third place finish, each scoring a 9.90.
The highest finish on beam for the Gophers was Kelley's 11th place finish with a 9.825 mark.
The NCAA Championships will be held from April 18-20 at the University of Alabama.
