Shani Marks Earns All-America Honors in Triple Jump

Minnesota senior Shani Marks (Apple Valley, Minn./Apple Valley) earned All-America honors with a sixth-place finish in the triple jump in the NCAA Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships in Fayetteville Ark., on Saturday. Marks landed a mark of 43 feet, 10 inches on her final jump of the competition to collect her second career All-America honor in the event. Auburn senior Elva Goulborne won the title with a leap of 45-2 1/2.
