Harrier Andrew Carlson Wins Jim Drews Title

The No. 16 Golden Gophers compiled 40 team points to place second in the team standings, following No. 1 Wisconsin, who won the event with 30 team points.
Carlson was not the only Gopher to run the best race of his career. Junior Ryan Malmin clocked his fastest career time over an 8-kilometer course posting a time to 24:30.0 to place second.
The Gophers scored three other finishers in the top 15. Ryan Ford placed 10th in a time of 25:09.2, Antonio Vega was 12th in 25:20.2 and Justin Grunewald finished 15th with a time of 25:28.7.
