KSNB to Broadcast 30 Minnesota Baseball Games This Season

gophersports.coKSNB (950 AM) will broadcast 30 Minnesota Golden Gophers' regular season baseball games during the 2004 season. Along with the radio broadcasts, Minnesota will have 39 games webcast on gophersports.com during the 2004 season.

The Golden Gophers will start the regular-season broadcast schedule off with all three games from the Dairy Queen Classic broadcast on KSNB. Minnesota will take on West Virginia on Friday, Mar. 5 at 6:35 p.m., Nebraska on Saturday, Mar. 6 at 6:35 p.m. and Florida State on Sunday, Mar. 7 at 3:05 p.m.

KSNB will also broadcast at least three games from each of the Golden Gophers' eight Big Ten series. All four games from the Purdue (Apr. 30-May 2), Iowa (May 7-9) and Illinois (May 14-16) series will be broadcast.

The Golden Gophers' will also have their midweek game against local rival Northern Iowa broadcast on KSNB at 6:30 p.m.

Gophersports.com is currently scheduled to webcast all 32 of Minnesota's Big Ten games. The Golden Gophers will also have all three games from the tournament in Des Moines, Iowa on Mar. 26-28 webcast on gophersports.com, along with the Northern Iowa game and all three Dairy Queen Classic games.

Tom Witschen will be the play-by-play broadcaster for Minnesota baseball this season.
