Golden Gopher Women's Basketball NCAA Pep Rally on Sunday

A pep rally for the Golden Gopher women's basketball team as they head in the NCAA Tournament action will be held on Sunday, March 21, at 10 a.m. at the McNamara Alumni Center. The McNamara Center is directly across the University Avenue from Williams Arena. Doors open at 9 a.m.

The Golden Gopher pep band and spirit squad will perform at the pep rally. The crowd will also hear from Golden Gopher head coach Pam Borton.

Sunday, the action at Williams Arena gets underway at 11 a.m., when Kansas State faces Valparaiso. The Golden Gophers take on UCLA in the day's second game, beginning at approximately 1:30 p.m.

Tickets are available at Williams Arena on Saturday from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m., or by calling the Golden Gopher Ticket Office at 612-624-8080 (1-800-UGOPHER outside the metro area). Fans may also purchase tickets on gophersports.com.
