WBB: NCAA Women's Basketball Ticket Sales Reach 7,000

Minnesota set an NCAA Mideast Region attendance record last year when a crowd of 13,425 flocked to Williams Arena for the first and second rounds of the 2004 NCAA Women's Basketball Championship. Ticket sales for the 2005 tournament are ahead of last year's pace.
Only all-session tickets are on sale at this time. Single-session tickets, if available, will be on sale at 9 a.m. on Monday, March 14. Ticket prices are as follows:
All Session Reserved Chairback - all ages (6 games): $45.00 All Session Reserved Bench Adult (6 games): $35.00 All Session Reserved Bench Student/Senior (6 games): $25.00 Single Session Reserved Chairback - all ages (2 games): $23.00 Single Session Reserved Bench Adult (2 games): $18.00 Single Session Reserved Bench Student/Senior (6 games): $13.00 Tickets may be purchased by calling the Gopher Athletics Ticket Office at 612-624-8080 or toll free at 1-800-U-GOPHER, or through the athletics website at www.gophersports.com. Tickets may also be purchased in person at the ticket office, located in the main lobby of Mariucci Arena.
