SB: Minnesota Begins Big Ten Slate This Weekend at Home

The Golden Gopher softball team (15-13) kicks off its 2005 Big Ten schedule this weekend at Jane Sage Cowles Stadium. Minnesota hosts Penn State on Friday and Saturday, and then faces Ohio State in a Sunday doubleheader. The Nittany Lions enter the week with a record of 16-11, while the Buckeyes are 16-8.

This weekend starts the beginning of a 13-game home stand at Jane Sage Cowles Stadium. Minnesota finishes the year with 15 of its final 23 contests at home.
