fresMiles Webb will transfer from the University of Minnesota and leave the men's basketball team. Webb, a freshman forward from Brooklyn Park, Minn., played in nine games last season and averaged 1.0 points and 0.3 rebounds in 2.4 minutes of action per game.
“I fulfilled a personal goal to play for the Gophers, but now it’s time for me to continue my career somewhere else,” said Webb. “I would like to thank my teammates and the coaching staff for making me a better basketball player and hope they continue the success we started this season.”
"Miles committed to us as a sophomore in high school when this program had a lot of question marks,” head coach Dan Monson said. “We’ll always be grateful for his commitment to this program and we sincerely hope he has a great career.”
