MBB: Gophers to Participate in Special Olympics Minnesota State Tournament

GopherThe University of Minnesota men’s basketball team will take part in the Special Olympics Minnesota State Basketball Tournament this Sunday from noon to 1:30 p.m., at Eden Prairie High School. Gopher players, coaches and Goldy Gopher will sign autographs, take photos and hand out Gopher paraphernalia to Special Olympics Minnesota Athletes.

For more than 32 years Special Olympics Minnesota has worked to enhance the human potential and quality of life for children and adults with intellectual disabilities by offering year-round training and competition. By sharing their joy and courage, our athletes inspire the human spirit in all of us.
