ROW: Wick and Ratterman Named to the All-Region Team

Cheryl Wick and senior Beth Ratterman were named to the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association’s All-Region Team, announced today by the CRCA. Wick was a first- team All Central Region selection, while Ratterman was named a second-team All Central Region honoree. The awards recognize the outstanding accomplishments of female rowers and coxswains this season.

Wick and Ratterman competed in every First Varsity Eight competition this season. Each competing at stroke position at different times this season, the duo helped the Gophers to a No. 15 national ranking, the first time the Gophers were ever ranked in school history. Wick and Ratterman helped the Gophers to a fifth-place finish at the Big Ten Championships and a sixth-place finish in the Central Region. Wick and Ratterman were also named to the Academic All-Big Ten team earlier this spring.
