MBB: Monson Donates Williams Arena Suite To Benefit Katrina Victims

thUniversity of Minnesota men’s basketball coach Dan Monson, in conjunction with “Coaches Care Across America”, has donated a Williams Arena Suite for the Dec. 23 game against South Dakota State to the “Coaches Care” on-line auction. All proceeds from the on-line auction will benefit Habitat For Humanity to help rebuild the Gulf Coast.

Fans interested in bidding on the Barnloft or any other of the variety of sports related auction items can log on to allcoachescare.com. Monson’s Barnloft is submission number 229 and entitles the winner to entertain a group in a private suite at Williams Arena to watch the Gopher take on South Dakota State on Friday, Dec. 23 at 7:00 p.m. The winner will receive 22 game tickets.
