Dan Monson and the Golden Gophers Hold Media Day

The new-look Golden Gopher men's basketball team held its annual media day at Williams Arena on Thursday. Head coach Dan Monson held his annual press conference, while the players met the media on the court.

The Golden Gophers open their 2006-07 season with an exhibition game against Bemidji State on Nov. 3 at Williams Arena. After hosting WInona State on Nov. 8 in the final exhibition game, Minnesota opens the regular season on Nov. 13 against North Dakota State at Williams Arena.
