Golden Gophers Lead Big Ten with Five Top-100 Recruits

The University of Minnesota women's soccer team leads the Big Ten with five recruits ranked in the top 100 in the nation by Soccer Buzz. NCAA runner-up Penn State has three recruits on the list, while Illinois has one. Last year, the Golden Gophers signed their first- ever top-100 recruit in midfielder Kelsey Hood.
Chelsey Turner (Rochester, Minn.) and Kelly Wepking (Kenosha, Wis.) are ranked in the top 75, while Sara Clancy (Cedar Rapids, Iowa), Dana Tripp (White Bear Lake, Minn.) and Jenny Green (Palatine, Ill.) are ranked in the top 100.
