Minnesota Signs Australian Zoe Harper To Scholarship Offer

University of Minnesota head women’s basketball coach Pam Borton announced today that Australian Zoe Harper has signed a scholarship offer and will join the Golden Gopher squad this fall.

Harper is a 6-3 center from Lemming, near Perth on the western coast of Australia.

“We are really excited to have Zoe joining our team this fall,” said Borton. “Our players and staff are thrilled about the quality person, student and basketball player we are getting in Zoe Harper.”

Harper completes the Gophers’ recruiting class for the 2006-07 season. Harper joins true freshmen Korinne Campbell, Brittany McCoy, Breanna Salley and Tanisha Smith, as well as, transfer Jordan Barnes, as newcomers to the Minnesota squad for the upcoming season.
