Leslie Knight to Co-Host WCCO Show on Saturday

Leslie Knight, the Minnesota junior forward and a communications major, will co-host an hour of the WCCO Sports Saturday with Rita Maloney Show from 12 noon – 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 12, on WCCO Radio (830 AM). During the program, head coach Pam Borton will be featured for a 15-minute interview.
Knight has been a world traveler this summer. She spent a month studying abroad in Venezuela, then toured Denmark, Sweden and Norway as a member of the Big Ten Women’s Basketball Foreign Tour.
Maloney, the Gophers’ play-by-play announcer on the Golden Gopher Radio Network, will also take part in the upcoming Gold Rush caravan on Aug. 14-15. Maloney will serve as the emcee at events throughout the caravan.
