Minnesota Volleyball Team Ranked No. 22 in CSTV/AVCA Poll

The Minnesota volleyball team was ranked No. 22 in the CSTV/AVCA Top 25 poll, which was released on Monday, Oct. 22. Minnesota received 337 points in this week’s poll.
Minnesota has been ranked in 82 of the last 89 polls dating back to 2002. The Golden Gophers have also been ranked the last 19 weeks dating back to the middle of the 2006 season.
This past week, Minnesota dropped a five-game match at Northwestern and a three-game match at Michigan State.
Minnesota was among four Big Ten teams that were ranked in this week’s poll. Penn State is No. 2, Wisconsin sits at No. 8 and Michigan is No. 20.
The Golden Gophers return home to face No. 2 Penn State on Friday, Oct. 26 at 7 p.m. That match will be broadcast on a tape-delayed basis on ESPN 2 on Sunday, Oct. 28 at 11 a.m. (CT). It will also be broadcast live on ESPN360.com.
Minnesota will also face Ohio State on Saturday, Oct. 27 at 7 p.m. in Williams Arena. That match will be shown live on the Big Ten Network.
