Minnesota Volleyball To Host Final Spring Tournament on Apr. 22
The Minnesota volleyball team will finish its spring season, when it hosts a spring tournament at the Sports Pavilion on Sunday, Apr. 22.
Admission will be free to all of the matches. This will be the third an final opportunity to see the Golden Gophers play this spring.
The first match of the tournament will feature Minnesota against Montana State at 9 a.m. Following that match, Montana State will face South Dakota State at 10:30 a.m. The Golden Gophers will wrap up the morning session against South Dakota State at 12 p.m.
Minnesota and Montana State will play again to start off the afternoon session at 2:30 p.m. Montana State and South Dakota State will meet for the second time at 3:45 p.m. The Golden Gophers will finish the tournament when they face South Dakota State at 5 p.m.
In the morning session teams will play two games to 30 points and then one game to 15 points. The afternoon session format will be feature two games up to 30 points.
