SELLING EQUIPMENT
NCAA Bylaws 13.16.1.4 and 13.15.1.6.1 cover the sale and use of athletic equipment. The University of Minnesota may not sell used athletic equipment directly to a high school or a coach. However, per an NCAA interpretation from 1991, a high school may purchase used athletic equipment from the institution at a sale that is open to the general public.
