Minnesota-Michigan Doubleheader Postponed on Apr. 7

Minnesota's doubleheader against Michigan on Saturday, Apr. 7 has been postponed due to weather conditions. The postponement guarantees a cancellation of at least two games of the four-game series.

The two teams will try to play a doubleheader on Sunday, Apr. 8 at 10:30 a.m. (CT)

Minnesota has had its last five games cancelled (Penn State, 3/31) or postponed (North Dakota State, 4/4 & Michigan, 4/6, 4/7) due to weather and has lost three games out of those five (Penn State, 3/31 and two of the Michigan games). The Golden Gophers last played on Saturday, Mar. 31 at Penn State.

Heading into the weekend, Minnesota was 17-6 overall and 2-1 in Big Ten play this season.
