Minnesota Volleyball Television Schedule Set

The Minnesota volleyball team will have six matches on television according to an announcement from the Big Ten on Sept. 6 that confirmed the Big Ten Network’s schedule through October. Minnesota will have four matches on the Big Ten Network, one on ESPN 2 and one this weekend on ComcastSportsNet West.
Minnesota’s first televised match will occur on Saturday, Sept. 8 at 9 p.m. (CT) when ComcastSportsNet West will have a live broadcast of the Golden Gophers’ matchup with No. 15 California. That match can be seen on channel 656 on DiRECTV.
The Golden Gophers will have their first Big Ten broadcast on Wednesday, Sept. 26 at 7 p.m. when their road match at Iowa will be broadcast live by the Big Ten Network. Minnesota’s match at Ohio State on Friday, Oct. 5 has been moved up an hour to accommodate television, and will be broadcast at 5 p.m. (CT) on the Big Ten Network.
Minnesota’s first home broadcast will be on Saturday, Oct. 27 at 7 p.m. when the Big Ten Network will air the Golden Gophers’ match in Williams Arena against Ohio State. On Oct. 31, Minnesota’s home match with Iowa will also be shown on the Big Ten Network.
The Golden Gophers will also have their home match against Penn State on Friday, Oct. 26 at 7 p.m., broadcast on ESPN2 on a tape-delayed basis. That match will be shown on Sunday, Oct. 28 at 12 p.m. (CT).
