Phil Steele, publisher of Phil Steele's College Football Preview, has released his Mid-Season All-Big Ten team. Several Minnesota Golden Gophers are featured on the first, second and third teams.

Gophers on the second team are senior tight end Jack Simmons, senior defensive end Willie VanDeSteeg and sophomore cornerback Marcus Sherels. Third-teamers for Minnesota are sophomore quarterback Adam Weber, freshman kick returner Troy Stoudermire, junior cornerback Traye Simmons, junior safety Tramaine Brock and senior punter Justin Kucek.
Steele will release his Mid-Season All-America team on Friday. One would have to think Eric Decker would receive some mention. We'll see ...
