Minnesota Soccer to Celebrate MSHSSCA Day Sunday at ELR

This Sunday, the 25th-ranked University of Minnesota women’s soccer team celebrates High School Day at Elizabeth Lyle Robbie Stadium as the Gophers (11-1-0) take on Indiana (5-6-0) in a Noon (CT) kickoff. Minnesota Soccer partners with the Minnesota State High School Soccer Coaches Association (MSHSSCA) to welcome and recognize all high school programs and players at Sunday’s match.
The Gophers, off to the best start in school history, are ranked 25th nationally by both Soccer America and SoccerBuzz in polls released this week.
Sunday’s event serves as a celebration of the strong relationship the Gopher soccer program has built with high school programs throughout the state of Minnesota. Currently, 17 of the 23 players on the Gopher roster played high school soccer in the state of Minnesota:
