For SCSU: Holly Roberts, Caitlin Hogan, Megan McCarthy, Danielle Hirsh, Kelly Meierhofer and Ashley Nixon. Coach Frost switched left wings Erickson and West. Erickson is skating with Marvin and Francis, while West is the left wing of the Lamoureuxs.
Minnesota power-play opportunity killed off by SCSU. 15:50 remaining in first period.
Minnesota called for back-to-back penalties creating a 5-on-3 for 1:47. Minnesota held off the Huskies until the first penalty had just expired, but SCSU scored as Maunu came out of the box. SCSU, 1 MINN 0 at 10:01.
