Big Ten Tonight: Signing Day Special to Air Nov. 12

The next class of Big Ten men’s basketball stars will be introduced on the Big Ten Network at 5 p.m. CT on Wednesday, Nov. 12, during Big Ten Tonight: Signing Day Special.
Dave Revsine and Jim Jackson will discuss the incoming players and break down which university’s recruiting class will make the biggest impact in 2009-10 and beyond. The two will be joined for the hour-long show by recruiting expert Dave Telep of Scout.com.
Last season the Gophers signed five players in what was head coach Tubby Smith's first recruiting class at Minnesota. The class included Devron Bostick (Racine, Wis.), Paul Carter (Little Rock, Ark.), Devoe Joseph (Ajax, Ontario), Colton Iverson (Yankton, S.D.) and Ralph Sampson III (Duluth, Ga.). Bostick and Carter joined the Gophers via the junior college ranks while Joseph, Iverson and Sampson were high school seniors.
Minnesota opens the 2008-09 season by hosting the NABC Classic at Williams arena Nov. 14-16. The Gophers will play Concordia-St. Paul on Nov. 14 at 8 p.m., Bowling Green on Nov. 15 at 8 p.m. and Georgia State on Nov. 16 at 6 p.m..
