Decker Named Honorable Mention All-America

SI.com, the website of Sports Illustrated, has named Minnesota wide receiver Eric Decker as an Honorable Mention All-America performer.

Decker led the Big Ten and set a University of Minnesota record with 76 receptions during the 2008 regular season. He currently ranks No. 2 in the Big Ten in receiving yards (84.1 ypg). Decker also hauled in six touchdown catches during the regular season.

Decker and his Golden Gopher teammates are currently preparing for a matchup with the Kansas Jayhawks at the Insight Bowl in Tempe, Ariz., which will be played Dec. 31. Kickoff is slated for 5 p.m. CST at Sun Devil Stadium.
