Raw talent with great size who can flat-out run possesses terrific athletic ability and a huge upside late bloomer on the gridiron who starred on the basketball court early in his prep career two-star rated prospect by both Rivals and Scout tapped as the No. 155 safety in the country by Scout one of four Skyline products to sign with the Gophers along with Keanon Cooper, Troy Stoudermire and Spencer Reeves.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Skyline High School key member of a top-ranked defense that allowed just 203.8 yards per game in 2007 also played receiver as a senior helped lead Skyline to a 12-2 record and its deepest run in the playoffs since 1972 as the Raiders reached the Class 5A Division Region Final recorded 12 receptions for 154 yards and two touchdowns as a receiver Did not participate in football as a junior coached by Reginald Samples.
RECRUITING: Selected Minnesota over an offer from Louisiana Tech also received recruiting interest from Colorado State and Iowa State as well as several Texas schools during the process.
