Big, tough and incredibly versatile athlete who can do it all played just about everywhere as a prep, working as a linebacker and safety on defense and at wide receiver, running back, tight end and even quarterback at times on offense rated as a three-star prospect by Rivals, which also taps him as the No. 83 overall athlete in the nation a two-star prospect and the country’s No. 128 running back by Scout prep teammate of Gopher signee D.L. Wilhite.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Bryan Station High School helped lead the Defenders to a berth in the 2007 Kentucky Class 5A state playoffs recorded 45 receptions for 876 yards and 15 touchdowns at wide receiver and finished the season with 1,197 all-purpose yards as a senior also punted and averaged over 40 yards per kick earned honorable mention all-state honors from the Louisville Courier Journal as a wide receiver named first team All-Fayette County at wide receiver by the Lexington Herald-Leader rushed seven times for 36 yards in the Kentucky vs. Tennessee Border Bowl postseason all-star game a second team all-city selection at running back as a junior in 2006 coached by Dr. Oliver Lucas also lettered in basketball and was a standout on the hardwood for the Defenders.

RECRUITING: Selected Minnesota over offers from Kentucky, Louisville, Michigan, Michigan State, Purdue and West Virginia.

PERSONAL: Terrell Combs was born May 20, 1989 son of Nelda and Gerald Combs.
