Speedy yet crisp route-runner who is also a serious vertical threat can accelerate quickly and track the ball downfield has natural hands and plays with good concentration rated as a four-star prospect and the No. 15 prep school player in the country by Rivals also earned four stars and a No. 10 prep school ranking from Scout originally signed with Akron after committing to Virginia coming out of Friendly High School in Fort Washington, Md. considered to be a three-star prospect and the No. 11 overall player in the state of Maryland in the Class of 2007 by Rivals.

PREP SCHOOL: Enrolled at Milford Academy in New Berlin, N.Y. helped lead the Falcons to an 11-1 record in 2007 hauled in 22 receptions for 332 yards and two touchdowns named the Falcons’ Offensive Player of the Game following a four-catch, 60-yard, two-touchdown performance at Wagner also rushed six times for 65 yards on the season coached by Bill Chaplick.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Friendly High School in Fort Washington, Md. helped lead the Patriots to a perfect 14-0 record and the 2006 Maryland Class 3A state title had 67 receptions for 1,390 yards and 22 touchdowns as a senior set the Maryland public school record with 43 career touchdowns earned All-Metro honors from the Washington Post first team all-state and second team All-American by MaxPreps also a first team All-Prince Georges County pick hauled in 42 passes for 879 yards and 11 touchdowns as a junior  credited with 40 receptions for 756 yards and 10 touchdowns as a sophomore coached by George Earley.

RECRUITING: Selected Minnesota over offers from Akron, Temple, Utah, Illinois and Virginia.

PERSONAL: Vince Hill II was born Nov. 19, 1988 in Washington, D.C. Son of Vincent and Claudette Hill brother, Keith, played cornerback at Bowie State, and brother, Colan, played basketball at Columbia Union cousin, Bobby Houston, played with the New York Jets cousin Roderick Lewis played with the Houston Oilers.
