“We really wanted to get a new look with these uniforms, so I sat down with some representatives from Nike and we got input from our equipment staff, and that’s how this whole idea kind of came about. I obviously had my own thoughts and ideas about what sort of look we were going for, and I bounced those ideas of these people. We went back and forth a few times on our different ideas and thoughts and we came together on this look right here.

“When you can tell yourself that you’re a better player, it allows you to actually play better. When you can tell yourself that you feel faster, that allows you to go out there and play at the highest level - you feel that you can go out and play at the highest level that you’re capable of.
“As long as you can visualize yourself as a better player, you’re going to be successful. You have to be able to convince yourself before you can convince others.”
