Laskowske Finishes Eighth in Drake Relays 5,000 Meters

Minnesota’s Amy Laskowske finished eighth in the 5,000-meter run at the Drake Relays on Thursday evening. Laskowske clocked a time of 17 minutes, 9.71 seconds.
A contingent of Golden Gophers will compete in the Drake Relays on Friday, including two relays, the distance medley relay and the 4x800-meter relay, looking to defend Drake Relays’ titles from a year ago. The Gophers will run the same lineup as a year ago in the 4x800-meter relay: Jamie Cheever, Gabriele Anderson, Julie Schwengler and Heather Dorniden.
