University of Minnesota assistant football coach Ronnie Lee has been chosen to participate in the NCAA Expert Coaches Forum.
Lee is one of just 28 coaches from across all four divisions of NCAA Football who have been invited to the forum, which will be held June 5-7 in Dallas, Texas. The NCAA Expert Coaches Forum is designed to improve and reinforce various aspects of securing, managing and excelling in head football coaching positions at the intercollegiate level.
Lee coaches the Gopher defensive backs. He is in his second season on the Minnesota staff. Lee has previous coaching stints at Michigan, Wisconsin, San Jose State, Colorado State, Idaho, Portland State and Miami (Fla.).
One of Lee's charges at Minnesota was free safety Dominique Barber, who was selected by the Houston Texans in the sixth round of the 2008 NFL Draft. Ten of Lee's players from previous coaching stops have played in the NFL as well.
