University of Minnesota head football coach Tim Brewster will be promoting the Gophers’ 87-county drive to raise funds for TCF Bank Stadium Friday.
Brewster will be making an appearance at the Golden Valley McDonald’s restaurant (720 Winnetka Ave.) North at 10 a.m. Friday. Brewster will be appearing in conjunction with the Grand Opening of McDonald’s new McCafe. Brewster and other local celebrities will be on hand to sample the lattes, cappuccinos and espressos and to meet and greet fans as well.
Following his appearance in Golden Valley, Brewster will be a guest on Twin Cities Live on KSTP Channel 5 between 3-4 p.m. Brewster will be accompanied by Goldy Gopher and members of the Minnesota Marching Band. He’ll be discussing the University’s 87-county tour and phase three of the fund-raising project for TCF Bank Stadium. Studio audience members will receive an autographed photo of Coach Brewster, as well as a Minnesota football t-shirt.
