Gold Zone Video/Audio:
The Gold Zone, the site for premium content at Gophersports.com, will provide full coverage of the Minnesota/Syracuse football game. On Tuesday during game week, Tim Brewster's press conference will be carried live at Noon. Gopher players will also preview the game. On game day, the Gold Zone will feature live audio of the matchup, as well as highlights, Tim Brewster's press conference and player reaction following the contest.
Minnesota-Syracuse Memory:
The Golden Gophers posted a 35-33 victory over No. 23 Syracuse at the Metrodome in 1996. Minnesota improved to 3-0 with the victory. Then-freshman Tyrone Carter (below) began his All-American career by setting an NCAA record with a pair of touchdowns on fumble recoveries in a span of 56 seconds in his first career start.
